Not illustrated. 1911 edition. Excerpt: ...1,000 for 1908, a rate of 11 per 1000 for 1909, a rate of 11.8 per 1,000 for 1910, a rate of 10.5 per 1,000 for 1911, a rate of 9.9 per 1,000 for 1912 and a rate of 10.6 per 1,000 for 1913, it is shown that the death rate 'or the months of July, August, and September, 1914, represent a lower death rate for this season of the year than has ever been known-in Wisconsin since the adoption of the uniform law providing for the accurate registration of all deaths occurring in the state. Since the season of the year covered by this report is usually the time when we may expect a considerable increase in the number of deaths from typhoid fever, we feel that the people of the state should congratulate themselves that there is an actual decline in the number of deaths from this disease, as compared with the report for previous years. For the third quarter of 1913, we received reports at the state office of 6,432...
